Not having a gas gauge on my new '07 America is a little disconcerting.
So I was wondering how other forum members keep track as to when it's time to fill up. About how many miles can I expect from a tank (mostly suburban riding, a little highway)
Thanks!
Gasoline gauges on motorcycles are notorious liers....just as in an airplane..never depend upon that lieing piece of metal and glass ! Use the Odometer , reset at each fill-up ...after checking my ride...I usually hit reserve at about 130 miles....So I just fill up "about" that time , re-set the Odo. and off till next time....Note- cars have fuel gauges , Motorcycles have Odometers and Airplanes have time pieces....follow these cardinal rules of life and never be dissapointed again.....
