I haven't had a kickstart bike for 25 years.
But...

Every electric-start only bike I've had since then has had to be bump-started at least once.

So the best is electric and kick, like the late-70's KZ1000's.

And the new dirt bikes without a kickstart are a stupid idea. Try to bump-start in mud.
