We always called electric start the "girly button" Man did I catch a lot of flack when I got the SM after dishing it out all those years. The electric start is nice to have,but I would like to have a kick start too. I would use it most of the time probably. As easily as my SM starts with the button I bet it would be a 1 kick bike,maybe 2 cold. If I could start my old Panhead with the kick start the SM should be no problem.
