They think that motorcycles should never pop out the exhaust while decelerating, never vibrate, not even slightly, not one single drop of external oil is tolerated, drivetrains should be absolutely silent at all times, etc.
I'm a geezer, but, my 2 cents: I want it to rumble when it decelerates with an occasional pop like a properly tuned engine is meant too and I have adjusted it so. I want it to vibrate when it revs to that point, but, not like it was built by a sloppy manufacturer (case in point, the Indian Power Plus fiasco). I do not want to go numb from a poorly made engine or poorly designed frame, I ride for enjoyment (and I do enjoy a tolerable amount of machine violence). Chain drives make noise, so be it. Oil escapes from crankcase pressure build up, so be it. I don't want my spine rearranged by the frame or poor suspension, I've paid to insure that isn't the case with my America. I miss the option of a kick start but the button sure is handy, especially this morning at 8am and 40 degrees. I love my Triumphs more than any other motorcycles I've ridden since 1972.
