I was thinking about this very topic on a long drive home in the early hours of Sunday morning. As you say every time you went out to the car or bike you wondered if it would start. Now you wonder if its still going to be there !

If anyone had tried to steal my Ariel Arrow in the night, they would have still been on the drive kicking it over in the morning ! It was a cross between black magic and blind faith to get that sob going !

it took me years to get used to taking a break during a journey in case the car or bike refused to re-start.

These days I always make sure I have some cash, a credit and/or debit card and a cell phone as well as my documents when I go out - not for fear of breakdown but of theft.


If you do it today you MIGHT regret it. If you CAN'T do it tomorrow you WILL regret it.
