I have to tell myself that all the time. That being that they do pop out the exhaust while decelerating, they do vibrate, they piddle very small amounts of oil on the garage floor, and their drivetrains are not silent! They taint no spring chickens no moe.
When they fire all is well in the world...
Well except when running a bald front tire on the Blue Ridge Parkway at +1.56 times the posted speed.
