I didn't ask for it but they put it on. Maybe it's a new feature to keep these expensive goodies on your bike and not someone else's. I did get the gunfighter seat so I don't know if that's standard for that style of seat. I had to replace the post that my stock seat attached to with a post that Corbin supplied with the seat and the lock operates a cable like the stock gunfighter seat.
