I don't know why these places are itemizing like that. Retail is retail. Maybe dropping the sticker a grand or so to 6999 helps sell the bike, then they hit you up with the "fees" to bring it back up to full retail. That's pretty shady in my opinion.
I agree, it was shady, and I have yet to go back to them other than warranty work that needed to be done. I will continue to do the scheduled maintenance on mine to avoid paying them anything more than I already have. The only thing I would call a benefit is the 10% off any Triumph parts and accessories that I order through them. Haven't used that yet as that stuff is over-priced to begin with.
