It's cheaper unless you ride a lot in the cold temps. Sorta like computer printers and ink. Up front cost is low, but the consumables end up eating your wallet up. Not to mention the aggravation of changing all those heat packs.
It's another option I guess, but plug n play is so much more conveeenient.
