spooky.......just last night I was reading a book about the three districts in Birmingham which were my stomping grounds when I was a kid and one of the first pictures I looked at was the scene of my first accident on my Ariel Arrow. It shows the parking lot exit that the car pulled out of and T-boned me. Luckily we saw each other at the last second and I swerved away from him and he braked hard. Luckily just a few bruises and a cracked fairing on the Arrow.
I was only a kid and this guy happened to have loads of 'witnesses' that were leaving the office (where he worked) and were prepared give statements to the cops that I had called him out. I was told to 'clear off and think myself lucky'.
Oh, just a coincidence but I read in the local paper a few weeks later that a car had been vandalised on that very parking lot - some hooligan had thrown paint stripper all over it.- spooky
