I would suggest that it probably wouldn't, simply because the america/speedy had to have it's (otherwise bonneville) engine moved sideways in the frame to clear the fat tyre. This would mean the rear wheel's sprocket would also be further out to the side as compared to the bonneville's I'd assume.
