Then it must be slightly higher than 10.5:1 - I'll find out. I'm still curious if there are disadvantages to going up from that to get more hp. As I said before, I'm not as much interested in the high rpm hp as wanting more low end torque. My book shows the stock set up as 9.2:1. The dealer told me you could still use mid-grade gas in both versions. Seems like if it's more than 10.5:1, you would need premium.
