The only reason I didn't purchase a Guzzi last year was that their twin-cylinder motors had only 4-valves (2 valves per cylinder). Now they have finally produced an 8-valve motor. The motor will debut in their "Griso" model, but will undoubtedly be in some of their other models in the future (see pic below).



I've already purchased my new rig, but the next time around I'll be looking seriously at Guzzi.

The 8-valve engine first appeared in the "Dr John Replica" Daytona 1000 in the early '90's.
And it was in the Centauro in the mid-to-late '90's.

I've always been fond of Guzzi's. Love the Nordstrom. Like the California as well, but a magazine report on it was not kind. Mostly ergonomic problems and very expensive.
