I have. Using these babies from Kuryakyn. You have to drill out the hole a bit to accomodate the 1/2" bolt. Works perfect. I put mine forward/up but you can do as you please.

How about using the upper mount point of the peg hanger bracket?

Hey, those are cool. What does Kuryakin call them? Part # or other ref?

Hey John, I think those are the ones referred to. Bolt on and give it an upward offset. Here is another option. Moves pegs forward and has three different height options. Just a thought. Made by RIVCO eddy

after using the illustration in fast eddys picture, will the driver(me)be able to use the new footrest for optional resting place while cruising??Are they forward enough? The stock are not comfortable for me to change positions.I use the kuryakn switchblades up front now but would like another option!!Thanks

Thanks Eddy but I'm not really a fan of boards. Don't ask me why but there you go, we're all different and that's a good thing Anyway I've looked at a number of different options including loads of stuff in the archives etc and I'm thinking these ones will do quite nicely. My reasoning is I should be able to locate them to suit where my missus wants them (she's virtically challenged ) on the stock peg hangers but also, I'll be able to put them on virtually any future hanger I want down the track.

Hey all, Can't use the upper mounts, they don't fit. The boards won't work either. These pegs have to come up at least 3 to 4 inches.( I still remember inches and pounds, vaguely) Bill, how do yours fit with the offset pins? Do you just ignore them? I don't want them moving!

I moved mine to the forward lower mounting position for the finishers. I removed the finishers and then made a minimalist bracket to connect the two mounting points and provide neded support for the foot pegs. My fiancee finds the slightly more forward position way better than stock for longer rides.
