Don't offer him any more, G; get onto ebay and see what they say. The bloke's actually admitted that it he knew about reserve prices so it's a gamble he took...and lost. As I don't think ebay will help and I also don't think he's going to give it to you as a gesture of goodwill, another option is to take it to a small claims court. Perhaps just the threat of court action will make him think again-know any friendly solicitors who can fire off a short letter to him??!! Depends how much you want it.
