Found it ... He does something similar to what I had in mind. With one small hole saw inside of one large hole saw, the small one serves as a guide to keep the large one from skidding all over the place. If I can find a small saw that just barely fits into the hole left from pulling out the inner pipe, it should keep the 2 1/8" saw in place.
