Heard on the radio this morning that some cities here (including Beaverton where I live) are considering making left turn signal lights flash yellow instead of ever going to red at most intersections. They will still turn green, but will go to steady yellow then flashing yellow. The gal on the radio said that it is something they have been experimenting with and monitoring at several intersections across town for a while (I never noticed any of them). I like the idea.
