Any suggestions for securing rally pins and such to a jacket or vest? The screw-on backs are not a problem, but the pins that have the push-on back are not very secure. Any one try soldering those? Any other ideas?

You can get small chrome thingies called pin locks, which are made to go over the pin and lock on with an allen key to tighten them up. Look on ebay they sell for about ten dollars for ten of them.

I use Rally Gator pin keepers to keep the pins secure. I think they're at Rally-Gator.com. They're also at Rally-Gator.Ca Good luck.

If that's superglue you're talking about sniffing, the fumes are cyanide. Have fun.

Yeah but I played with 1000000 times more cyanide than would be in the fumes of superglue while I was at uni....and I'm still here. That amount won't kill you...

And I played with mercury, hydrofloric acid (lots worse than hydrochloric) and lots of other stuff.
The cyanide was tame...
