Put it this way I don’t think I would be able to live and have what I have in any other country in the world. When I do conversion of currency when purchasing anything from over the pond it comes out at what I would have expected to pay here. Some things are cheaper for me to do in the USA that they are here, like hosting services and your ISP charges are way better than what we have with better services.

We have had plenty of people leave SA and move to greener pastures so to speak but if you speak to them they say overall the cost of living is better here so I suppose this is a good way to gauge things.

For you guys coming out here on holiday you would find things quite cheap because of the exchange rates 7 to 1
