The fuel companies explore, do seismic, drill, ship, refine, transport, market, and wholesale fuel for AU$0.65c per litre.With a claimed 0.3c profit. Our lazy, greedy, and economically deficient Government whack on AU$0.49c per litre, in tax, just 'cos they can, and more importantly, they don't have to buy their own fuel, we buy it for them. Point is, maybe your theiving elected representatives may be doing the same, therefore should be the first place to lobby. Just a thought.
