I just shipped there via USPS. Pretty cheap and I could not believe it got there in about 4 days...

Pretty much everything I've shipped from there came by USPS, which gets delivered here by Australia Post. Never had any major issues with it. UPS is faster, but way over priced.

DHL is cheaper than UPS, and I think quicker too.

I have a lot of stuff shipped out to me via USPS. Its the least expensive and reliable. Send it registered and insured. Takes about 7 to 10 days. The only issue is if its over $300.00 receiver may have to pay duties. Its a catch 22 if its worth $1,000 and you insure it for $300.00 and its lost you are out of pocket. If you declare full value then receiver may have to fork out $$$. If its more than one item, send them separatly over a few days.

You only have to pay duty if it's over $1000.00AU.

Can't you declare it a gift and avoid duty? (from someone who knows nothing about this)
