I suffered with the Red Sox for the first 44 years of my life and when they finally won in 2004 It was a huge relief. Now when the playoffs come I just recall 2004 and a smile comes to my face. Beating the Yankees and St. Louis in 2004 erases "86"(Buckner). "78"(Dent) and "67" (Loss to St. Louisin WS)losses.

I feel bad for the Cubs fans. Maybe if they just sacraficed a goat or 2 it would break their curse. Their day will come but I hope it's not at the expense of the Red Sox. I'd love to see them beat the Yankees in the World Series.
