They are not too bad but I just have them stuffed into the mirror 'pockets' with some washers under them. When I had them on the stock bars, I used a whole stack of washers so the butt ends were flush with the control housing to get them up a higher.
I would imagine those adapters Bret sells might do the trick though. Hmmmmmm....
