Good question Stew! Just the other day I too was wondering what ever happened to Shane.
Last we heard he was having a wedding reception at his home for a couple of friends o' his...and then nothin'!
My guess: When the reverend asked that question about if there is anybody present who knows why this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony he confessed his undying love for the bride to the attended congregation(which of course included his wife). He then swept her of her feet, and then the two of them bee-lined it for Mexico, never to be heard from again!!!!
Of course, if that WE'RE true, the funny part o' this whole thing would be that the wedding took place in UTAH, and so why flee all the way to MEXICO when I hear that there are certain parts of that state, Arizona and Nevada where this sort'a thing is no big deal at all!
(now wasn't that "big o' me" to bring up this possible scenario???)
