Hello once again everybody. It has been quite awhile since I have been to this fine site. I see there are quite a few new members here. I have been so busy here at work and at home that I just do not seem to get on board here very often anymore. That and my shoulder problems have both kept me from riding as often as I wouild like to. However, I have managed to do some modifications to the Silverbullet in the last few weeks. I wanted to do the "Freak" and after looking at the installation instructions on-line I deceided to order the K&N filters direct from Riverside, Ca. and make the nesessary brackets myself.I did this project for under $100.00 and holy CR*P, what a difference in power. Of course since I now had more air I obviously need more fuel. I went from 142 mains which I installed two years ago to 152.5s. HOLY FRIGGIN CR*P !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She runs super, super hard & strong now. Of course drilling the vacuum port on the throttle slides helped the response tremendously as well.I had no idea this machine had this kind of potential. If you want more performance, I highly recommend this mod.
Cosmetically I chopped some off of the rear fender as well as a little off the front. Relocated the rear turn signals and obviously the tailite. I may reinstall the chrome thingy,s that used to be where the K&Ns are now showing.Next I will relocate the front signals when I get time. I cannot stress just how much more power I have now. By the way, the A-I was removed as soon I took delivery on my machine in Jan. 02. Almost forgot, with my latest performance mod,my screws are two turns out. Her is a pic.
Take care everyone and ride safe !!!!!!!!
Buuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrpppppppppp !!!!!!!!!!
