I may stop on the way to the Kent CAMA show , or maybe not.
Lately I've been wondering why we (my wife & I) go there. I suppose to chat with the other riders is the draw. Getting the correct order in a timely manner at Toymakers has been a crap shoot lately. They tend to lose entire or portions of orders, or perhaps they give them to other patrons? I dunno. I'd say these issues have happened to me & Carla on 4 out of the past 10 visits, or else they bring my meal first, then hers 20 minutes later. The one waitress's perpetual and sullen throw the food at you attitude isn't helping my desire to return either. I'm not looking for a red carpet to be rolled out, but for her to at least fake a dram or two of personality or at least to speak once in a while, or at least curl her lip corners up to flat horizontal, as opposed to the customary I hate my job but won't quit position might be nice. Maybe it will get better after leaf peep season.
