But actually(as you may know) the candy bar "Bab[Y] Ruth was not named for the "Bambino", but was named for the daughter of President Grover Cleveland.
Ironically however, a few years back there was a rumor started supposedly in the city of Boston that the Butterfingers candy bar was named after a certain baseball player by the name of Billy Buckner!
(but I personally have always thought that the guy got a bum deal, as the Sox's idiot manager shouldn't have had the poor guy with bad knees out there playing first while trying to hold a lead in the ninth inning!!!)
