Ed & Vicky,

Thank you ever so much for the grand hospitality! And for a spot on the grassy knoll. Camping was perfect.

The facts:
10 days 9 nights 3,606 total miles.
Ride Home:
Sunday rode to Woodbridge VA. 400 miles.
Monday rode to Merritt Island. 843 miles in 10 hours 50 minutes. Thats 77.84 average mph. Who said these sickles can't haul butt?

Rode till reserve which was every 150 miles or so filled up side stand up. Iron butt riders got nothing on me. Had I filled out their paper work I could have well never mind...

Sunsets?

East Lake Road on the other side of Hammondsport. Talked with a death camp surviver for nigh on 40 minutes and fell in love with life all over again. This lady was a dear. Shalom sister. May you always enjoy your view of Keuka Lake.

SPECTACULAR> The whole trek. NY was the best I have ever seen.

Dang, Moe, you going for the Mileage King award this summer? First Texas and now NY...where to next?

Moe,

You truly are 'da man'. If I have one regret over that fantastic voyage to NY its that I didn't get to spend more time with you just chewing the fat. You never fail to impress or inspire me. Hope to see you soon.

I really am at a loss for words to describe this...

Blue skies and boundless vistas

Ryan, well what can I say? Two bikes and each one has been here...

I love little baby ducks, old pickup trucks and pastels...

What can I say? This is the line that I love to cross...

BTW, Jeff, it was good finally meeting you and Doug, Scott, and Gene. Our mini rallys in the Econobox parking lot were a lot of fun..

I owe you guys a few brews...

That's a great idea Ed. The one thing this rally is missing is the ability for all of us to sit around late into the night with a few drinks and BS without having to worry about riding home intoxicated or on the lookout for the herds of deer in the area.

Keep us posted.

Great idea, Ed, and one we kicked around when we saw those rental cabins at Letchworth. That was, in fact, the only negative about the rally in that we all couldnt hang together (and still make it to the motel in 1 piece)

I think that would be a great idea, if there was one downfall of this years rally that would be it, The drive from Ed's house back to the motels. But I still think it was great that Ed and his wife picked up the ball an ran with it. I am just glad that I didn't miss it!!! Thanks again and count me in for next year!!!
