, I realized that I was participating in hijacking singring's
Cheap Effective Oil Filter Protector thread.
So......
After seeing the Norman Hyde skid plate for the Bonneville class machines (thanks Travis!)
I seriously started thing about making one. After re-mounting my new rear tire tonight, I left her on the jack so I could create a cardboard template. Got on the garage floor and 'started creating'.....
Janet comes out and goes "how would you change the oil?"
Crap....
I did realize why I love this woman so it's not a total loss!
