If you go to Pep Boys they have two different types in chrome. One is for cars and the other is for trucks. Get the one for trucks, it a bit wider and covers the whole seam. They come two in a pack for around $6-7. Each strip is more then enough to do one side of the tank. The only thing you need do is clean the bottom edge of the tank with some rubbing alcohol and a rag. Then use a hair dryer to warm and soften the strip and it will wrap right around any curve. Just apply the heat slowly. Depending on the hair dryer you use you may need to set it on low. Do not use a heat gun unless your use to using one. They get too hot and will melt the plastic.
