I was tired of V-twins. I thought of buying an old 650 Yamaha and fix it up. They have a parallel twin, chain drive, exhaust coming out the front and going down each side, and spoked wheels. That is the look I was wanting. Somebody at work said something about an old Triumph. Got me to thinking. Went on-line and saw an America and it was over. The perfect bike!!. Had to have one. Three years later and there is still nothing out there that comes close to me, and I have rode just about all the bikes out there. Except sports bikes, they don't do anything for me. I am forever hooked on Triumphs.
