Only a year ago did I decide to get another bike. I really did not know what to get. I looked at some BMWs (dualsports) but could not justify the bike for the kind of riding I was going to do here in SoFla. Then I was looking to get a jap cruiser, but after a couple of visits to the dealerships they all started to look the same.
I even looked at some Guzzis just because it's something different and I always loved the sound.
Then my wife dragged me into the Triunph dealership and the rest is history.
2 months and 900 miles later (remember, it's rainy season here in Florida right now) I truly enjoy the bike. It has enough power to giddy-up and plenty of comfort for me. Best of all I like the looks and the fact that it's not a v-twin.
Looks, p/w ratio, reliability, versatilty and my wife's encouragement were all the factors I needed to get her brand new out of the crate. Waiting for her to be assembled was the longest week in my life.
Always itching to ride.
