IF IF you have to replace it, simply drill some tiny holes in the metal part of the seal, screw in a couple tiny screws and pull it out holding two screws at oposite sides of the seal.
Put new seal in, tap GENTLY into place with soft wood in criss cross fashion with a very light hammer.
