I installed 1" risers on my TBA. I didn't change the routing of my throttle cables around the frame, but I did change their position in front of the handle bars (between the triple tree and headlight). This caused chaffing on both cables, which I didn't realize until after the outer shielding was rubbed away. Basically I should have just left the cables alone after installing the 1" risers. The end result was built in cruise control that I didn't really want. I replaced both throttle cables and the clutch cable with SS Braided cables from SEL-Motion Motorsports. All 3 new cables are very nice and are probably 1 to 1.5 inches longer than the stock cables.
