I really appreciate all your responses fellas but I've just run out of time. I was running close to the wire as it was when I emailed them and the extra time to sort it would have meant me missing a planned weekend ride.
So I ended up buying 2 stock america cables (changing to America bars so got the longer ones) which I'm not happy about but what can you do. I'm now considering
the idea of using this stuff but not sure yet. Has anyone else used it and if so how does it look. The other question I haven't had answered yet is, would we expect the Barnett cables to last longer or are they "much in a muchness". You know, about the same in the longevity dept.
So I was really wanting to get the Barnett cables but wasn't to be this time. What I'm thinking of doing is waiting for a while until I'm a bit more flushed with mons and then trying to organise Barnetts to work online with me using the contacts I have here. Then when I get them at, least I will have a couple of spare babies for my emergency kit. That way I won't feel so bad buying nice Barnett newies after having already forking out for the stock newies now.
