Well the planning is over and the quotes have come back. I will be removing a wall in the kitchen, all cabinets, sink and counter tops, flooring and subfloor, all the carpets in dining and living rooms as well as the foyer.
HER plan is to install hardwood throughout the main level, new oak cabinets, granite counter tops (GRANITE !!!!)sink and fixtures, lighting and change the kitchen layout, new windows, dishwasher and microwave/exhaust fan.... Lucky the fridge and stove are recent purchases.

Sigh.... I'm not riding the new kitchen, I'm riding... er.. the counter top. If I ever can afford a new bike, it will definitely be the kitchen. Maybe a decked out Rocket.
