This is encouraging because although we've started out differently, we're coming toward the same setting.
The only thing I'd think more on would be fitting a free'r air filter. I fitted a Uni at the same time as dumping the snork and it made quite an improvement in pick up. I also fitted a rubber velocity stack from Jenks. Although, I'm not sure it makes much difference, it does look a lot neater.
I know what you mean about the DIY... When my mates phone home my better half says "He's popped out for a ride on the new kitchen..." Warped sense of humour…
