I was out Sunday running through the great middle Tennessee twisty backroads on one of them slow bikes going fast myself with a group of "faster" bikes. And I was having a blast! Take a closer look and you may notice the Speedmaster is set up more for twisty roads than the straights.
Dwights statement about anybody can go fast in a straight line is one I have quoted often; however after spending a few days at the Salt Flats I have had to change that to anyone on asphalt. The skills required to do well on the salt are learned from experience and I have a whole new respect for the guys and gals that do it!
And since I did want to see what a Speedmaster could do the best and legal way was to make the trip and have it logged with a time slip. Now that I have done it I am back to 80% of my riding being on twisty backroads anywhere I can find them.
Whatever type of riding you enjoy - get out and enjoy it.
"Go Your Own Way" as they say.
