You guys have helped me tremendously while working on my Dad's bike. Looks like if I can find the right spring and bearing for the choke slide everything will be working properly.
Everyone has been very helpful (in no particulat order and to name a few....others have commented also and sorry if I didnt name you)....oldroadie, brokenfixed, dinqua, the Dog, and Fishercat spent time finding a spring and bearing that may work and is mailing it to me.
All I can say is THANKS! Great forum, Great People....I hope to get to a rally sometime where everyone is so I can meet some of you.
I am off to vacation and will mail the bearing and spring to the shop once I return home.
PS. Once its home it is for sale again.....and this time it will be ready to go. Will be offering a lower price so that I can get the money to my mom who is looking for a house near me.
