Try the TBS needles, or if you don't want to wait one shim on the stock needles. I have the TBS needles which improve the mid range nicely, and am going to try the Thruxton needles just to see if they work better with my setup. Others on this board seem to think the Thruxton needles may be a little too rich though. Most people here have recommended the TBs needles, and I find that most of the time the advice received here is right on.
