Just finished watching the Ravens/Bengals game....
First...Dear Officials...LET 'EM PLAY!!!
What the heck kind o' call was that in the end zone with about 2 minutes to play ANYWAY???
And THEN to compound the issue you call yet ANOTHER penalty as an OVBIOUS "make-up call".
Look, I'm neither a Ravens nor a Bengals fan...BUT GEEEZ!
And then....AND THEN...with the game of the line YET AGAIN, thanks to that "make-up call", that fat head of a Ravens head coach calls a friggin' passing play on 3rd down at the 2 yard line with the game on the line, and the announcers want to blame the kid playin' QB for it!!!
I GIVE UP!!!!
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Just finished watching that game too. Yes, it should have been a touchdown. Week one, and all the officials are acting like it is still pre-season (stupid obvious non-offsides call during the Chargers game yesterday). Officials should be fined or fired for bad calls.

I AGREE, Soren!!!
Yep! Evidently the old saying that the hardest call for an official to make in sports is the old Block/Charge Call in basketball has been overtaken by ANY CALL in the NFL!!!)
WHERE DO THEY GET THESE GUYS ANYWAY, HUH??????!!!!!!!

They had an article in our local newspaper a few years back. A local "homeless" guy who you always see at the entrance ramp to the highway was picked up by his wife in a new cadillac. Seems begging was pretty lucrative for him......they had a decent house, cars etc and he never worked

Homeless people do seem to hold their age well, I guess
However, the NFL only needs four of them from half of the NFL cities each week. Maybe after the Raiders move back to L.A. (again) that guy will get a job (on Sundays).
btw... Saw a couple of them get into a fight over a corner the other day, I guess they forgot to check their schedules.

Thought this post was the ride through the illuminations (Blackpool) last night. Over 400 bikes went through, I declined and decided to save my clutch.

Kyle Boller and Brian Billick suck! I'm a big Ravens fan and was stuck in a business dinner till 10 PM. Listened in agony on the radio for the final 8 minutes. So your saying bad officiating lost the game for us, whew!....... Sounds like McNair stunk it up before Boller took over. Thank god we have Ed Reed to keep us in the game. Could be a long season....
