my clutch isnt working

why ?? it has been standing for 3 weeks now ( my finger is broken) and to day i wanted to go for a ride but when i put a gear in it just stops ??? any ideas ?

side stand down? if so, could be the side stand relay switch.

it was the switch...it has been reigning for allmost 3 weeks... litle nervous for a while

Yep! Just what I was thinkin' too, Joe. Let us know if that was indeed the problem, Rene.

(BTW Rene...if this does turn out to be the only problem and you get to take your ride, once you return home and park your bike, BE SURE to put that kickstand back down in the fully extended and locked position BEFORE you lean her over to the left....TRUST ME, you WON'T be the first person to forget to do THAT 'round here EITHER....right folks???!!!)
