sorry for the long delay. My bike was at the dealer for service for 3 weeks. Talk abt. frustration,everything that I ordered either was never received or wouldn't fit with what the dealer put on when I bought the bike. Like the Chrome ring arround the seat, it looks great but it wouldn't fit with the the rear fender luggage rack. You would have thought Triumph would have checked it out first.
Back to the floorboards, I had mine taken off, my 29" inseam legs got cramped, these are 68 year old legs. So I will get rid of them, no not the legs. I am going to look into the heel pegs. Sounds like a great way to go. Is there any special fabrication necessary with it?
Oh, I also tried the Raask repositioning kit for the front controls. It was well thought out and produced but it moved the pegs too far back (4")and too close (2") further back.The above items will soon go on sale. Trying to get my legs in a comfortable postion has been expensive.
