When you said decided not to paint it I was expecting raw steel clear coated.
Looks bad for that style (bad being good) I personally don't like the no rear fender, no sprocket cover look and hate the darn refecters in front! Love the color , like the pipes, looks fast sitting there. Like the artistic bit with the grafiti gives it flavor so to speak.

Even with blurry pics the great lines still come through. I like it. Beside any color tank would look good on this style.

It's a good, chunky and muscular look. I'd like to see the little rear fender bit match the tank color to lead the eye along the strong lines.

They're part of Triumph '68 line for the Bonneville. Check out the Triumph website.

I like that sprocket cover with that look. In the far away shot it looked unfinished, like there wasn't anything there. I was thinking all the gunk from the chain would go all over. The no rear fender still but thats a matter of taste, and the one thing I didn't mention we went over before so I'll skip it again! I do generally like it but just not for me.

Normally I only go for the bobber look on the Meriden era bikes. Haven't seen a bobbed Hinkley I cared for .... until now.
Looks great!

Davin Nice Job! I like what you did with the sprocket cover. The mullberry with no grey looks good, but if you had more time changing the tin color could be cool also. Keeping the stock colors lets the mods you did speak for the bike (rather than a flashy paint job). What length shocks did you use? It looks like you could lose another .5" if you really want to slam the bike down. After you put some miles on the bike I would love to see how the clear sprocket cover is working. Its cool for shows but I wonder how much of a pita it will be to clean it after a ride? Just my .02 Sweet bike I would love to see more pics

they are 26" broomsticks. the 29" ones would fit alot better, but i didn't figure that out until it was too late.

Do you mean the 29" would fit your hands better or the overall look of this really nice bike?

yeah cause i noticed that pushing my controls inward makes me have alot of slack on my cables obviously and they look like theyre really pushed in far so whats the deal with the extra slack hanging down more?

the 26's create too much slack that looks stupid, and the brake fluid reservoir comes too close to the bar clamp...

thats what i thought...did you have to shave that little nobb to let the banjo bolt rotate?
also it looks like you rerouted the throttle cables or soemthing accross the front or something to take up the slack maybe?

I like the look .Doesn't look to comfortable for the rain though. How about maybe a slide out fender hidden under the small rear fender you have, you know so when it rains.Just pull over and extend it out.Sort of like a convertable top on a car.Just a crazy idea.If you don't do maybe I will.
