Well it isn't really a chatroom. For anyone who hasn't been in one,in a chat room what everyone says shows up in real time and you can scroll back and forth and carry on a conversaion with out waiting for the board to reload with the new post on it. I don't think we really need that here. With Yahoo (and I am sure others) the IM also offers a conference feature where you open up a sort of mini chatroom and anyone invited can join. So you can have 2,3,4,10, how ever many you want and carry on a conversation.
I was used to that format when I first came here so I would post then have another thought and post again and so on and I caught flack for it and was accused of pumping my post count. I could care less about post count as I am sure is the same with most on here.
