I groaned too,it jumped right out at me once he said it.But I thought an anogram was where each letter stood for a different letter or numeric value not where letters were just jumbled up.

Yeah I 2nd Tom Baker. New Dr Who on Sci Fi right now. Like you say new to the USA anyway.

Whats Torchwood? Haven't heard anything about that.

Torchwood is an agency started by Queen Victoria in the episode of the new Dr Who where she ended up banishing the doctor after he fought off an alien attack. Now it's a new series. The pilot was on the BBCA last night.

Let me get it straight, Tom Baker had the long coat and scarf with curly almost afro hair, right?

Alright then.. in order:

William Hartnell

Patrick Troughton

Jon Pertwee (run Doctor run, see Doctor run)

Tom Baker (he of the long scarf, afro, metal dog etc) with Davros who created the Daleks

Peter Davison

Colin Baker (no relation to Tom)

Sylvester McCoy (no relation to Stallone)

Paul McGann (who only appeared in the full length movie)

Christopher Eccleston with Billie Piper (Rose Tyler). I first thought she was a complete Bimbo but she quickly became a very good companion.

David Tennant with Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones). Taking me a lot longer to warm to Martha as a companion than Rose, though Martha's definitely brighter than Rose.

Technically they can have two more doctors before they either have to quit the series or start breaking their own rules, as Time Lords only get twelve regenerations. The Master (The Doctor's nemesis and a rogue Time Lord for those who don't know) however had a thirteenth "stolen" regeneration in the older series.

I'm having a hard time warming to Martha also, Brighter than Rose yes. But somehow Martha seems to lack the enthusiasm for adventure, it's like shes tried to diplay an "oh wow" kind of attitude but it seems forced. Not believable. Could be Billie Piper is just a better actress.
