I've been Harley bashing for years, but after 240 miles on one up in Lake Tahoe a couple weeks back I think I'm going to kick it into high gear!
We pulled out of Reno H-D and after just a mile or so my wife said "this thing sounds rickety compared to your Triumph!" She was right - the whole thing just rattled and shook, and it had only 1,200 miles on it! Hardly any power - for nearly twice the displacement of a TBA it probably also took twice as long to get up to speed. Controls weren't very comfortable, and the pillion seat was repeatedly compared to sitting on a 2x8 plank.
There were a couple nice things, though. I love the quick release windshield and sissy bar. And the self-canceling turn signals.
Other than that, I'll be steering clear of anything out of Milwaukee!!!
