I read on the Corbin Newsletter that they had reduced prices on practically their entire line of seats. Didn't necessarily believe it but I looked and I think this new price has been lowered! Weren't they like $419 just a couple of months ago? Corbin Sooooo if anyone was holding off because of the price now is the time!!! I got mine in '05 and think it's just great.

The old price was $450, now it's $120 less. And the backrest seems to be $20 less. I just ordered them at the higher price - haven't even taken delivery yet!!

Guys, call them and complain until your eyes fall out.
I'd bet they will honor the lower price rather than garner the bad press. I would also bet big money that this website and other similar 'bike centric' sites are responsible for this price drop.
God bless the web.

I'll have to say, I've long had a beef with them due to their customer "service". Long story and I don't want to bash them here, but good luck fellas. That is a RAW deal IMO.
I see a chrome bike and I want to paint it black.

Well, Steve Jobs gave the early iPhone buyers a $100 rebate after they dropped the price two months after its debut. Can't hurt to call Corbin. Especially you, Steve. If nothing else, tell them you want a refund and order it again in a couple weeks.

Waaaaaaaa Waaaaaaa
I'm so totally upset inconsolable and angry. I paid 379 for my saddle now its 339. Paid 239 for my pillion now its 199. I am going to sue those beastterds. After all I purchased back in September 2004. You think they would send me a refund without me whining.
Four years of me rubbing my rearend all over their product. Maybe that evens us out? No? I'll ask Yota.
Seriously, those of yous that have recent orders COMPLAIN and get yer dough back. Me? Too late. Way too late. 4 years in a Corbin saddle and I would do it all over again. Actually I paid ZERO for my second saddle so I guess my average cost for a corbin saddle is 169.5 !!!!! haha hoho hehe...

Hmm I was planning on ordering the gunfighter since it has been cheaper all along. Maybe I should get the solo now.

I got my solo and backrest through a distributor in Australia early this year but I never even thought I could get some sort of money back. I mean what would they care about some bloke in Aus? They have their money and why would they want to give me some back. Makes me wonder why they have lowered the price though other than they weren't getting enough orders. Anyway as I've said a few times now, the main reason I wanted the Corbin was for the Backrest and even at the price I paid and the fact I also have an airhawk (long story), I still don't regret the purchase. It's just that sometimes I wouldn't mind a break like for instance saving on buying one now Poor Staffo
