First 2 runs where with 19 front and 42 rear. On the first run I realized that I had over geared for the the conditions but wanted to put in one solid run before changing. This brought the top speed of 111 mph on the second run. I then changed the front to 18 but on both of the next 2 runs I had to back out when I went through soft salt that caused some fish tailing. Even with these "slow downs" I was able to do 106 mph so I believe that I could have improved on the 111 mph had I been able to put in a clean run - one may never know?
I have learned the top speed on the salt is typically less then what is possible on pavement due to the many variables.
