Just looking at that, I'm thinking it's a "proof of concept" thing more than anything else. It looks like a home-made redesign of BMW's
Telelever suspension, with the spring & shock relocated below the tank instead of being built into the forks.
At least, I'm
hoping that's what that monstrosity is.
